Christmas information 2024

Hi,
It is almost Christmas, which means that the school staff will have time off. Premises and functions will therefore have limited opening hours between 18 December and 7 January.
 
Campus
Malmö Academy of Music is completely closed during 24-26 December and December 31-January 1. The rest of the days, the school has regular opening hours.

The library
The library will have extended opening hours for students and staff during the Christmas holidays, weekdays 08.00-20.00. Extended opening hours means that the library is unstaffed and that you do errands yourself. As usual, you need your LU card to enter the library.

Reception and VFS (the service unit)
The reception is closed 18 December - 7 January. The school is staffed all working days, but with limited service. This also applies to the Helpdesk. 

TI (Technical Production & Instrument Services)
TI is also closed during the holidays. Do not forget that all current instrument and equipment loans must be returned by 19 December. You will also not be able to borrow anything new until 7 January.
 
YallaTrappan 
YallaTrappan closes on 19 December and reopens on 7 January 2025. However, during the first week (7-10 January), their menu is limited.

We need your help
If you are here during the holidays, remember:
 

- Do not throw any waste / food leftovers in the bins, take it with you. Waste smells foul quickly.
- Close the windows, turn off the lights and leave everything in order.
- In the event of an incident, immediately contact the university guard. Phone: 046 - 222 07 00. You also find the contact information on the back of your LU card.
