Course evaluation and report

The Performance and Church Music Programmes

The Higher Education Ordinance stipulates that all students must be given the opportunity to present their experiences and give opinions on completed courses. The purpose is partly to collect students' perceptions of the course and partly to create a basis for course development and feedback to the students.

At the end of the course (usually the end of the semester), a course evaluation is therefore made. Your teacher is responsible for the course evaluation and chooses the appropriate form for implementation.

Questions that should be central in the partial course/course evaluation are:

  • Goal
  • Course content and scope in relation to work effort
  • Teaching and examination forms

Autumn semester: The teacher compiles the results briefly and emails them to the programme director no later than two weeks after the end of the course. Discussion in the college/council follows.

Spring semester: The teacher compiles the results and discusses them in the college/council. The chairman compiles the evaluation and emails it to the programme director no later than two weeks after the end of the course.

Course report

You must also fill in a course report and submit it to the examiner/teacher at the examination of the course. The course report is a supporting document for the examination of courses with student specific content, for example Instrumental Performance Studies.

  • First page is mandatory, the second page is optional.
  • You fill in one report for both Instrumental Performance Studies and Musical Studies and Interpretation.
  • At the examination of the course you submit this document to the examiner, who will forward it to one of the academy's programme coordinators.
