Here is important information and dates for students at Malmö Academy of Music.

To all students
- Empty your pigeonhole by Thursday 13 June. Any items left after this date will be discarded.

- Return everything you have borrowed from TI (Technical Production & Instrument Service) by Friday 31 May.

- It is not possible to borrow instruments and/or technical equipment over the summer.

To graduate students and students going on an exchange or a study break
- Return your LU card and keys to reception. Deadline: Thursday 13 June

- Empty your locker and pigeonhole before Thursday 13 June. Anything left after that date will be discarded. If you leave your pad lock on the locker, the service unit will cut it open.  

Access to the school's premises during summer 2024
A lot of students want to use the school's premises during summer. However, this is the only longer period we have for maintenence and repairs – efforts that are necessary for a well-functioning school next academic year. The following applies: 

- Summer opening hours: Monday – Sunday 07.00 – 23.00. However, access to some premises will be limited.

- 3 June – 9 June: the C400 corridor is closed.

- 10 June – 18 August: only A, D200, D300 and Y corridors are open.

- If you still need access to the closed premises (for example to rehearse for school projects), apply for access through Helpdesk by using the form ‘Accessförfrågan sommar 2024 / Access request summer 2024’. Apply by 14 June so that we can plan.

- Any changes regarding availability / opening hours will be communicated via e-mail and info screens. 

The Library
- Normal opening hours (08.00 – 22.00) apply until 20 June.

- The info desk is staffed: Monday – Thursday: 10.00 – 16.00, Friday 10.00 – 13.00

- The library is closed: 6 – 7 June (public holiday) // 21 June – 18 August.

- Summer book loans 2024: Anything borrowed (or re-borrowed) from 17 May onwards will have a return date of 4 September. This applies to both course books and notes.

- Summer interlibrary loans 2024: last day to order is 3 June. 

Backstage
The Service Unit and TI (Technical Production & Instrument Service) will only provide limited service during summer. The school will be staffed, but reception is closed.

YallaTrappan
- YallaTrappan is open with their usual meny until 5 June. 

- 10 June – 14 June: open but with limited food options. 

- 15 June – 18 August: closed for the summer.

We need your help!
- Do not throw any waste / food leftovers in the bins, take it with you. Hight temperatures make waste smell foul quickly.

- Close windows and doors, turn off the lights and leave everything in order.

- In the event of an incident, immediately contact the university guard. Phone: 046 – 222 07 00. You also find the contact information on the back of your LU card.
